Morgan Sindall Investments has been named as preferred partner for Slough Borough Council’s £1bn regeneration of the area.
The joint venture partnership will deliver a series of developments over 15 years. Plans include 525 homes and a leisure centre with an ice rink.
The firm will provide funding and investment expertise to the council. Its subsidiaries, such as Lovell Partnerships, will be used to deliver the scheme.
Paul Smith, chief executive of Morgan Sindall Group, said “We understand how important this project is, and look forward to delivering high-quality developments through our group companies, as well as providing local employment opportunities over the lifetime of the joint venture.”
A partnership agreement will be signed by the pair before the end of October.
