Quadrenalin Quadbiking Centre in Little Brickhill, Milton Keynes, has received planning approval from Buckinghamshire Council to continue operations at its current site and convert land for quad biking tracks, training areas, buildings and landscaping.
The council has approved the plans with conditions, including a limit of 10 quad bikes in operation at any time, only four-stroke quads allowed on site, and the use of tracks restricted to the hours of 9:00-17:30, Monday to Sunday.
These measures aim to minimise the noise impact of the development.
Quadrenalin started off as a small quad biking company in 2015 and had been operating in the same location since then without planning permission.
It submitted a planning application in July 2022 but received criticism from nearby residents and ward councillors, saying the quad biking centre could cause traffic problems, noise and harm to the environment.
Alex Schiff, owner of Quadrenalin said: “The centre has become an important part of the area, providing jobs for 15 staff members, many who live nearby, and creating opportunities for people to connect and enjoy the outdoors.”
