MetaProp, the New York-based proptech accelerator, investor and adviser, is set to go global with a cross-border programme that will kick off in London next March.
The group, which was founded by former Cushman & Wakefield broker Aaron Block, Warburg Realty president Clelia Peters, and investor Zach Aarons in January 2015, has launched MetaProp Bridge, a 20-week global acceleration programme to connect up to six proptech start-ups from across Europe, the Middle East and Africa to investors, mentors and partners in North America.
The programme will launch in London on 5 March 2018 and will extend to Asia in 2019. Benefits for successful participating start-ups will include up to $250,000 ($187,000) of investment from MetaProp and partners, as well as business development and consumer tech coaching, introductions to real estate and technology contacts in North America and temporary workspace in New York.
