MEPC is in talks to let the remaining 40,000 sq ft of offices at 11 & 12 Wellington Place in Leeds to a trio of occupiers, including JLL.
The developer is understood to be nearing a deal with the agency, which is in discussions to take almost 20,000 sq ft of workspace. JLL is also acting as a marketing agent for the offices, alongside CBRE.
Law firm Hill Dickinson and haircare product manufacturer Ghd are also in talks to take about 12,000 sq ft each across the second and third floors of the building.
A spokesperson from Hill Dickinson said: “We have explored several options for our Leeds office location, as our teams in the region continue to grow at pace. We are not able to confirm any details at this stage but will update in due course.”
MEPC and JLL declined to comment.
The move comes after Lloyds Banking Group has signed for nearly 124,000 sq ft of workspace, marking the region’s biggest office deal in recent years.
Late last year, Arup, which has supported the construction of the scheme, named 11 & 12 Wellington Place as its new regional home.
11 & 12 Wellington Place is being delivered as a part of a wider urban quarter, featuring 22 acres of mixed-use development.
