Daejan Holdings has won planning consent from Tower Hamlets for a 41-storey tower at 54 Marsh Wall, E14.
The scheme will provide 216 homes, 36% of them for the affordable market. Around £250,000 in s106 and £3.28m in CIL payments are sought.
An earlier version submitted in 2014 for 240 homes with a similar proportion of affordable was rejected by the council.
Phil Hughes, on behalf of Daejan Holdings PLC, a member of the Freshwater group of companies, said: “We will undertake our usual review of the market before committing to the next stage. We remain generally positive on the economic outlook.”
Rolfe Judd advised on planning.
