Lyndale Foods has bought the Maison Blanc luxury patisserie business for £12m.
The acquisition gives Lyndale its first foothold in the south-east.
Now the UK’s second largest retail bakery chain is keen to expand the Maison Blanc shops further in the south-east and into other richer areas.
