Lambert Smith Hampton’s head of asset and debt advisory has left the firm, alongside a team of directors.
Former head of asset and debt advisory Stephen Skinner has joined Sanderson Weatherall as a partner in the restructuring and recovery services team.
He has joined SW along with former LSH directors Colin Jennings, Tim Simmons and Peter Loveday.
The team will focus on all aspects of commercial lending and fixed charged assets.
Skinner worked at LSH for just over five years. Prior to this, he ran his own business, Edward Symmons Group, for 30 years.
All three directors worked with Skinner at ES and moved with him to LSH in March 2015.
Jennings was a partner at ES for 34 years in Manchester. Simmons is based in Birmingham and was also a partner at ES for almost 10 years. Loveday, previously a principal surveyor at ES, worked from the London office for LSH.
Sanderson Weatherall formed in 2003 through Weatherall Green & Smith’s merger with Sanderson Townend & Gilbert.
The team to date has comprised four receivers, including Daniel Hardy, former chairman of the Association of Property Fixed Charge Receivers. It has taken 200 appointments in the last three years across a number of sectors.
