LSH head of Brum quits

Lambert Smith Hampton’s Birmingham head, Ian Kibble, has quit the business.

Details are yet to emerge about the catalyst for Kibble’s departure and his future plans. Staff are due to be told of the news imminently. It is not yet known if he will be replaced, or by whom.

Both LSH and Kibble declined to comment on the news.

Kibble sat on the firm’s management team and was responsible for the performance development and growth of LSH’s central region, including the hub office of Birmingham. He took over the role in April 2010, replacing Terry Corns, who retired from the head of office role.

Prior to heading up the Birmingham office, he was previously head of LSH’s Hertfordshire office in St Albans for over 20 years, and was head of the company’s east region for six years.

Key clients have included SEGRO, ProLogis, Canada Life and MEPC.

Kibbles’ departure follows last month’s announcement that Countryside is to acquire LSH for £34.1m in a deal structured as a pre-pack administration, subsequently wiping out millions of pounds of debt at LSH.
