LSH appoints new Brum head

Lambert Smith Hampton has promoted Adam Ramshaw to head of office in Birmingham.

The appointment follows former head Ian Kibble’s surprise departure last Thursday.

Ramshaw steps up from his role as director of capital markets to lead the 70-strong Birmingham team.

He said: “To become head of office at Lambert Smith Hampton is a fantastic opportunity for me. The timing couldn’t be better – the uncertainty in the market appears to be fading and we are seeing an upturn in opportunities in both consultancy and transactions.”

LSH chief executive Ezra Nahome added: “With over 10 years’ experience in the Birmingham market, Adam is ideally placed to lead our team. Since joining LSH two years ago, he has been involved in a number of major projects and deals and I am confident that he will continue to grow our market presence.”

Kibble had been with the firm for more than 30 years and became head of Birmingham in 2010. Prior to that he ran the Hertfordshire office.

LSH was bought by estate agency Countrywide for £34.1m last month.
