Longevity boosts board with CBRE IM and Apple execs

Climate and business consultancy Longevity Partners has hired a new UK managing director and group finance director as the firm continues to grow.

Caitriona Hunter will join the firm as UK managing director on 2 October, following 25 years at CBRE Investment Management. Hunter has spent the past couple of decades capital raising, fund structuring and working in development.

Most recently, she has represented the owner of Battersea Power Station during its redevelopment and, prior to that, established and managed the CBRE UK Property Fund, the first daily traded PAIF for the UK’s defined contribution pensions industry.

At Longevity, Hunter will lead its UK operations, overseeing a team of more than 90 experts in London.

The firm has also appointed Kovilla Sooben Nagen, who takes on the role of group finance director. Sooben joins from online fashion marketplace Depop. Prior to Depop, Sooben worked for Apple and Shazam. She joins the Longevity C-suite and will help drive the firm’s financial health and support its expansion.

She said: “I eagerly anticipate the role of overseeing and strategically managing Longevity Partners’ financial operations, with a steadfast commitment to fostering the ongoing success of the team. There are exciting times ahead at Longevity Partners, and I am looking forward to playing a critical role as we continue to grow towards a net zero carbon economy.”

Hunter added: “I look forward to collaborating and working with such a diverse team of dedicated experts and build strong partnerships that will leave a lasting impact in our sector and beyond. I am hugely excited about the move from real estate investment to sustainability advisory, as Longevity works with its clients to deliver ever more challenging ESG targets.”

The firm has also appointed a new global marketing and communications director. Helena Rowe joins in late October and has more than 25 years’ experience working for businesses including Deutsche Bank, Lloyds Bank and Barclays.
