Former London & Stamford partners Stewart Little and Jeremy Bishop have launched Oxenwood Real Estate, a property investment management company based in the heart of London’s West End.
The pair, who left LondonMetric (formed out of the merger of London & Stamford and Metric Property) in January, have secured former boss Raymond Mould as a co-investor in the business and its non-executive chairman.
The firm will invest across a range of sectors across the UK with the aim of delivering “strong and stable income returns to investors”.
A number of potential acquisitions are currently under review.
Little and Bishop declined to comment on the scale of investment in the business or set a target, but are focussed on building Oxenwood as an “enterprise of its own”.
“The business will not seek to specialise initially,” said Little, “but continue our demonstrable ability to deliver out performance in core markets.
“The next 24 months will be a very exciting time in the UK market.”
Bishop added: “We believe that having the flexibility to deploy capital on a ‘right time, right place’ basis is sensible as the market continues its recovery across sectors.”
Little and Bishop spent eight years working alongside each other at LondonMetric, with responsibility for property investment, equity joint venture and asset management activities.
