London Square has secured planning permission from Brent Council for a mixed-use development including 301 homes in Willesden, north-west London.
The site, at 370 High Road and 54-68 Dudden Hill Lane, NW10, is designated by the council as an industrial space.
The Assael Architecture-designed scheme will provide homes of one to three bedrooms, 50 of which will be affordable.
The homes will sit above 54,000 sq ft of commercial and industrial space, including a café, gym, supermarket and 30,000 sq ft of community amenity space. A series of mini courtyards will be created with gardens, children’s play areas and sports facilities.
Construction is due to begin on site in March 2025, with completion expected from late 2027 onwards.
Adam Lawrence, chief executive officer at London Square, said: “Our development will deliver new homes, create job opportunities and bring a renewed focus for new residents and the existing local community to meet up and enjoy all the facilities being created.”
Avison Young advised on planning.
