London First hires PR guru for planning role

sue-brownSue Brown, former head of property at FTI Consulting, has left the PR world behind to become executive director of planning and development at London First.

Brown has more than 30 years experience in the real estate market and has worked on some of London’s most high-profile projects including Canary Wharf, Spitalfields and PaddingtonCentral.

She is also one of the founders of MIPIM and more latterly MIPIM UK.

Brown said: “I am very happy to be moving from the consulting sector to work on supporting the development and growth of London at this critical time. The promotion of London has been very close to my heart and I look forward to working with our members to ensure that London retains its position as the world’s most important real estate destination.”

She takes up the role from 15 August.
