Lok’nStore gets nod for two new stores

Lok’nStore has received planning permission for two new 60,000 sq ft self-storage facilities at Warrington in Cheshire and Stevenage in Hertfordshire.

No decision has been made over when to start construction works on the stores due to the ongoing impact of Covid-19.

Lok’nStore has a total of 12 stores in its development pipeline. Once completed, this will increase the company’s portfolio to 48 sites.

All of the company’s 36 stores are open.

Chief executive Andrew Jacob said: “The pipeline of new stores will add considerable momentum to sales and earnings growth over the medium term, allowing further increases in dividends.”
