Grosvenor’s Liverpool ONE is leading a campaign to support local firms in the city region through the government’s recent tier three rule ramp-up.
Grosvenor’s circa 2.7m sq ft retail, leisure and residential complex is heading up the campaign, with support from Liverpool BID, Visit Liverpool and Marketing Liverpool.
The campaign has five key aims:
- To help local businesses operate safely under the new rules
- To encourage people to eat and shop locally to support hospitality and retail companies
- To encourage people to use delivery services to order locally
- To provide support for the wider community
- To encourage businesses to ask for help if needed.
A statement from Liverpool ONE said the city needed to come together to “triumph in the face of adversity”.
It continued: “At the heart of [Liverpool’s] character are the people of the Liverpool City Region. Now more than ever they need to unite to see one another through to better times.”
