LIverpool City Council has approved Molyneux Developments’ application to deliver 103 student beds in the city centre.
The decision was made in line with recommendations by planning officers last week.
The developer will demolish the existing two-storey warehouse at 4-10 Gildart Street in the Fabric District to make way for a new seven-storey block.
The building, designed by Revival Architecture, will have 1,744 sq ft of commercial space on the ground floor, parking for 116 cycle spaces, a reception area, gym and laundry room.
