The loss-making National Botanic Gardens of Wales has received £350,000 from Carmarthenshire council in a bid to stave off closure.
The 229-acre (93ha) gardens at Llanarthne, Carmarthenshire, came close to appointing PricewaterhouseCoopers as administrator last week.
