With just hours to go to the opening ceremony of the London 2012 Olympics, we look at the commercial legacy of the Games.
Earlier we spoke with Kevin Chapman, head of offices at Lend Lease, about promoting his company’s International Quarter at Stratford to prospective tenants during the Olympics.
The Quarter will have 4m sq ft of office space once completed and Chapman says he hopes to have the first tenant move into the new scheme by 2015.
“We’re looking currently to secure a prelet over 100,000 sq ft, upwards to 1m sq ft and we have some good discussions going on with occupiers at the moment within that size range,” Chapman said.
