Landsec has signed a deal with bowling operator King Pins to open its first bowling centre in Yorkshire at the White Rose shopping centre, Leeds.
King Pins has taken 21,864 sq ft at the White Rose for a period of 20 years starting in November this year, at £6.06 per sq ft.
The deal follows new brand investment at the White Rose including an upsized Marks & Spencer and a Footasylum store.
The new centre in Leeds follows two Manchester venues, with openings planned in Bristol and Glasgow.
Mark Warne, director of hospitality and leisure at Landsec, said: “We’ve seen the positive impact that leading leisure concepts has on our centres, supporting footfall growth and increasing dwell time, benefiting existing brands and helping to attract new ones. That is why we are investing alongside the likes of King Pins to deliver these experiences in our destinations. Having already achieved a record year for footfall, this new addition to White Rose will position it for further growth.”
CBRE acted as letting agent.
