Kier Property has got the go ahead to develop its third building at Arena Central in Birmingham.
Revised plans were lodged for 5 Centenary Square in October after a previous consent secured in 2021 expired.
Kier has now been given the green light for 280,863 sq ft of grade-A office space in a 10-storey building.
The scheme had been approved subject to a section 106 agreement that involves a £2.2m financial contribution for active travel connections between public transport.
The revised Make Architects-designed plans are largely similar to the original designs but add a small space for a shop or café, reconfigure the reception to accommodate access to a new 160-space cycle hub, and amend the core of the building to enable greater flexibility for tenant subdivision.
Kier bought the 526,000 sq ft Arena Central development site in 2019 for around £30m.
