Kent venture to build 500 homes in Bromley

Kent housebuilders Asprey Homes and Ward Homes have joined forces to build 500 homes on the outskirts of Bromley.

The pair will work together to build a mix of one- and two-bedroom flats and two-,three-, and four-bedroom family houses at Bromley Common, Kent. The homes will be built over the next five years.

Work on the first phase of homes is scheduled to begin this autumn, with completion expected in summer 2011.

Ward Homes managing director Nick Fenton said: “The joint venture element of this project occupies 17 acres and is the largest scheme within the M25 that we have been involved in for some years and signifies renewed confidence in the property market.”
