Kajima hires ex-Montagu Evans partner to lead development and investment

Kajima Europe has hired Andrew Ludiman, a former Montagu Evans partner, as head of development and investment for its partnerships business, an arm of the group focused on property and project finance investment.

Ludiman moved from the agency world to Capital & Counties in 2013, where he was an investment director working on projects including the Earls Court regeneration plans. In 2017, he moved to Knight Dragon, where he tackled the Greenwich Peninsula project, before joining Montagu Evans as partner last year, heading up the firm’s residential capital markets and land teams.

He left Montagu Evans early this year and for the past eight months has been working as a consultant to Homes England on products, equity and partnerships.

Ludiman said his work will be “aligned with the reinvigorated push for housing and regeneration by the UK government that promotes private sector investment”.
