Joseph Homes has appointed Ross Stewart as head of land.
Stewart joins from Mackenzie Homes, where he was land director for just over a year.
Prior to this, he was head of land at London Square for almost seven years and held previous land and development roles at Countryside Properties and Waterbridge Group.
At Joseph Homes, he will oversee new land acquisitions, seeking diverse opportunities, as the company expands its London footprint.
Joseph Homes was founded by chief executive Joseph Rajah in 2008. Earlier this year, former L&Q chief executive David Montague joined as chair.
Last month, the developer secured planning consent for 1,500 homes at Albion Waterside, with dedicated build-to-rent, later living and affordable housing at the 14-acre site in Gravesend, Kent. It has other major schemes at Old Kent Road and Burgess Business Park, both in Southwark.
The B Corp-certified company has pledged to deliver a portfolio of entirely energy-positive buildings by 2025, including new homes and occupied offices.
