Two of JLL’s best-known investment agents have resigned to set up their own business.
Damian Corbett (pictured) and Chris Northam have resigned.
Corbett was head of the central London capital markets team and Northam head of the City capital Markets team.
Neil Prime, head of London office markets at JLL UK, said: “After illustrious careers at JLL, Damian Corbett and Chris Northam have decided to leave the firm.
“Both Chris and Damian have worked on some of the most exciting urban developments across London and have made key contributions to the London Capital Markets team. We thank them for all of their hard work over the years and understand that they are looking for a fresh challenge.”
JLL has already appointed Andrew Hawkins to lead its City capital markets team.
The news follows a spate of high-profile departures from the firm. This week David Emburey announced he was leaving to join DTRE. Mark Wilson, international director in the company’s capital markets team and national director Simon Verrall also left to set up their own firm last month and earlier this summer the company’s head of retail investment, Adrian Peachey joined Montagu Evans.
