JLL has once again topped the Leeds agents league, ahead of local firm Carter Towler.
Carter Towler can take some consolation from the fact that it once again acted on the most deals during the year, which, at 59, was more than twice the transactions of its nearest competitor, according to EGi’s Regional Offices Research. But it was not enough to dislodge JLL.
WSB’s rounding out the top three meant a strong showing all round for local Leeds agents in a market still seeing a decent level of take-up and number of deals: 760,384 sq ft overall, a 3.7% increase on the year before, and 177 deals, a 2.3% rise.
With only a handful of deals of more than 20,000 sq ft, and only one over 50,000 sq ft, agents had to work hard and no single letting drove take-up.

New Entrants
Cushman & Wakefield, Sanderson Weatherall, Fox Lloyd Jones and Lambert Smith Hampton all pushed their way into the top 10 this year, in what turned out to be quite a shake-up of the league table.
