Since its inaugural event in 2007, the JLL Property Triathlon has brought people across the industry together and raised more than £2m for charity.
Stephanie Hyde chief executive, UK and EMEA markets at JLL, said: “Each year, the industry comes together at Dorney Lake to raise money for a good cause and it’s brilliant to see more than 5,000 people from the real estate community show up for yet another great year.
“I am thrilled that collectively we managed to raise a such a significant amount – £194,000 – for our charity partner WWF. We are grateful for the generosity of all those involved and together we’re working to tackle the climate and nature emergency.”
Michael Dent, executive director of supporter income and engagement at WWF-UK, said: “Our planet is facing an emergency, but we can change this if we come together and demand action. These funds will go towards our critical work to tackle the climate and nature emergency and bring our world back to life.
“This includes our Sustainable Futures programme, which is supporting young people in the UK to develop sustainable skills and thrive in a future green economy.”
