JLL promotes Burns to investment director in Glasgow

Jones Lang LaSalle has promoted Ross Burns to director in the firm’s investment department based in Glasgow.

Burns, who has been with Jones Lang LaSalle for eight years, moves to the role with immediate effect.

Neil Cockburn, head of Jones Lang LaSalle in Glasgow, said: “This promotion for Ross is well deserved. Ross’s strength lies in his enthusiasm and determination to see home a deal he believes in, as well as his ability to work alongside both the Jones Lang LaSalle team and a wide and varied client base across all sectors.”

Burns will take on a leading role in one of Glasgow’s largest investment teams, which is involved in a number of high-profile transactions such as the acquisition of 58/59 Buchanan Street and the sale of Cowcaddens 2 at 200 Renfield Street.

Alasdair Humphery, managing director of Jones Lang LaSalle in Scotland, said: “This is a significant promotion for a very well respected member of the Jones Lang LaSalle team, who is also highly regarded in wider professional circles.”
