Flexible and co-working offices operator IWG has expanded in Camden Town as demand for workspace accelerates across north London.
The 21,000 sq ft canalside offices at 140 Camden Street, NW1, will be developed under a management agreement with WG1 Offices and operated under IWG’s Spaces brand. According to market sources, asking rents in the building are around £57.50 per sq ft.
The workspace, which will become available later in January, will provide space for established firms and start-ups across a range of industries. The building features private offices, meeting rooms, co-working and creative spaces.
Mark Dixon, chief executive and founder of IWG, said: “We are establishing a stronger and much-needed footprint in north London with this latest opening. The need for high-quality flexible workspaces continues to soar as hybrid working becomes the new normal.
“The opening of Spaces Camden comes at a time when more and more companies are discovering that flexible working boosts employee happiness and satisfaction, while helping the environment. Our workplace model is also proven to increase productivity and allows for a business to scale up or down at significantly reduced costs.”
James Wright, partner and founder of WG1 Offices, added: “Camden is one of London’s most significant creative hubs and we are delivering the newest and best quality workspace available.”
