A call for evidence has been launched as part of the review of the RICS’s handling of a critical internal report.
Alison Levitt QC is leading a review into the dismissal of four RICS non-executive directors in 2019 after they questioned the handling of a critical financial report by BDO.
The call for evidence is targeting “as many people as possible who can offer insight into the issues”, with a particular focus on current and former members and directors of RICS, as well as journalists. A website for the review includes a questionnaire on the treatment of the financial report and the non-executives.
The review will collect evidence until 19 May, with a report expected by mid-June. Parties can send their views to a confidential e-mail address, contact@LevittQCIndependentReview.co.uk. Responses will not be shared with the RICS.
