Lee Rowley has been reappointed to the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities as housing minister.
The news comes as Lucy Frazer joins the ministerial team as minister of state, with her new brief yet to be confirmed. Dehenna Davison has remained in post as levelling up minister, while Jane Scott is minister for communities.
Rowley, Davison and Scott are holding parliamentary under secretary of state posts in the department, making Frazer the most senior appointee.
The team will serve under Michael Gove, who was reappointed as levelling up secretary earlier this week as part of prime minister Rishi Sunak’s cabinet reshuffle.
Rowley was appointed to his role in September, under former PM Liz Truss’s government.
