The Jockey Club, which owns 15 horse racing courses around the UK, has sold land next to Haydock Park Racecourse in Ashton-in-Makerfield, Merseyside, to housebuilder Rowland Homes.
Rowland will build 84 three- and four-bedroom homes on the 6.5-acre Shark’s Fin
