Hillview Real Estate signs Brenntag for third Leeds lease

Hillview Real Estate has signed Brenntag UK for lab and office space at Lawnswood Business Park. The move expands the chemical and ingredients distributor’s presence in North Leeds. It is the third lease Brenntag has signed with regional investor Hillview at the business estate. Brenntag will occupy 4,402 sq ft on the ground floor of Lawnswood House. The deal was secured for seven years at a rent of £18.5 per sq ft. Brenntag already occupies 6,260 sq ft ground floor at Alexandra House and 14,176 sq ft at Alpha House, both located on the same business park. Dom Ketteringham, asset manager at Hillview, said: “This further expansion by Brenntag at Lawnswood Business Park, coming soon after lease renewals with Lansinoh and First Actuarial, reflects strong occupier demand for strategically located workspace near Leeds city centre.” Lawnswood Business Park, spanning across 150,000 sq ft, was acquired by Hillview in December 2018 for its Partners Property Fund II. Since then, Hillview has implemented asset management initiatives to enhance the occupational amenities and sustainability features across the estate.
