Hed Kandi to set up shop at Liverpool ONE

Music and lifestyle brand Hed Kandi is to open a store at Liverpool ONE.

Hed Kandi will open a 4,000 sq ft shop on the scheme’s lower South John Street.

As revealed by Estates Gazette (20 February 2010, p30), the music and lifestyle brand, owned by Ministry of Sound, plans to open a chain of high street stores over the next three years.

The company’s first store will be at Bluewater shopping centre.

Miles Dunnett, head of asset management, Grosvenor Liverpool Fund, said: “We are very pleased that Hed Kandi have chosen Liverpool ONE to open their first flagship store outside of the South East.  They are a famous fashion brand and will be a strong addition to South John Street whilst complementing the wider Liverpool ONE offer.”

Cushman & Wakefield and Tushingham Moore represented Liverpool ONE; CB Richard Ellis and MMX Retail are advising Hed Kandi.
