H&M is planning to open a 40,000 sq ft flagship store at the redeveloped Dickins and Jones building on London’s Regent Street.
House of Fraser will close the Regent Street store in January and developers Shearer Property Group and Delancey Estates plan to redevelop the 275,000 sq ft building into 3 units.
H&M has been trying unsuccessfully to take a store on Regent Street for five years. It is thought the Swedish fashion retailer plans a more upmarket store, similar to its Knightsbridge operation.
