Grosvenor, Royal Bank of Scotland and housebuilder AMA have submitted the first detailed applications and design proposals for the £200m redevelopment of the former Scottish & Newcastle bottling plant in Fountainbridge, Edinburgh.
Plans for the site, which were drawn up in 2005, were delayed after councillors told the developers that their masterplan for the 8-acre Fountain North site had to encompass the entire Fountainbridge area.
The Fountain North development will comprise 160,000 sq ft of offices and 650 homes.
S&N put the site up for sale in 2003 following the rationalisation of its bottling and distribution functions.
