SPENDING REVIEW 2015: Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales will get grant increases over the next five years, chancellor George Osborne has announced.
Northern Ireland’s block grant will be more than £11bn by 2019-20 and funding for capital investment in new infrastructure will rise by more than £600m over five years.
Wales’ block grant will reach almost £15bn by 2019-20. Capital spending will rise by more than £900m in five years.
In Wales, the devolution of income tax will take place without a referendum, with the government looking to back a £1.2bn Cardiff city deal.
Scotland’s block grant will be more than £30bn in 2019-20, with capital spending to rise by £1.9bn.
