GPE signs trio for Farringdon office block

GPE has let more than 11,300 sq ft of fully managed office space at its recently completed 6 St Andrew Street in Farringdon, EC4.

The company said the space had let faster than expected and ahead of estimated rental value, at an average rent of £203 per sq ft.

The space has been taken by Treatwell, a hair and beauty booking platform, which has taken 5,490 sq ft on the first floor for a two-year term; software developer Clavium, which has signed for 4,648 sq ft on the seventh floor for four years; and the Green Finance Institute, a not-for-profit advisory firm, which has signed a two-year lease for 1,220 sq ft on the ground floor.

Nick Sanderson, chief financial and operating officer, said: “We are thrilled to have let over 25% of the building in the short window since launching Six to the market in November. Having completed these three deals at an average of 12.7% ahead of ERV and a cashflow beat of 63%, together with good interest in the remainder of the space, reaffirms the strength of demand for our fully managed spaces, which provide high quality, hassle-free work experiences for our customers.”

The company bought the building in 2022 for £30m.
