Global insurance provider adds to flurry of lettings at 8 Bishopsgate

A specialist global insurance provider has taken office space in Mitsubishi Estate London and Stanhope’s 8 Bishopsgate, EC3.

CFC Underwriting, which focuses on cyber risk, will occupy 90,000 sq ft across six floors in the 50-storey skyscraper on a 15-year lease.

It will relocate from its current headquarters at 85 Gracechurch Street, EC3. Staff will be based on floors 10-15 of the building, where it will have exclusive use of a landscaped terrace on level 11.

The deal takes the building to 80% let or under offer after a flurry of deals. This includes law firm King & Spalding, which took 41,000 sq ft across floors 27-31 on a 10-year lease in October.
