Two of CBRE’s most senior investment agents, Edward Gamble and James Leach, have resigned.
Gamble, who is executive director of Birmingham capital markets, has been at the firm for four years and has worked in the Birmingham market for more than 17 years.
He is one of the region’s top-tier investment agents. He has recently been involved in high-profile deals including Legal & General’s £87.3m acquisition of 1 Colmore Square, where he acted on behalf of the vendor, Anglo Irish Bank Corporation.
Last year, Gamble acted for L&G on its purchase of Mitchells & Butlers’ headquarters and associated 120-bedroom Ibis Styles hotel, on behalf of its LPI fund, for £69.5m.
He previously worked at JLL in Birmingham and was involved in the purchase of the Mailbox by Brockton Capital and the sale of One Snowhill to Commerz Real on behalf of Ballymore.
Leach joined CBRE in 2011 from Cushman & Wakefield. Last year he acted on behalf of Harbert Management Corporation on its £137m acquisition of Project Emperor, a portfolio of UK business parks from Arlington Business Parks Partnership.
Both Gamble and Leach are joining the same company, but plans have not yet been finalised.
