When the EG Future Female Leaders project was conceived, it was as a way to help get more women up on stage at real estate events. A way to make women in the industry more visible. To make their voices heard. But, as evidenced by the grand finale of the first EG Future Leaders project, it has become so much more than that.
Last week, 12 women from across the industry became true leaders. They delivered 12 of the most powerful speeches to an audience of hundreds on a wide range of topics, including the important role of real estate in the fight against climate change, the need for education of the wider public about the opportunities for amazing careers across the built environment, how service needs to be at the centre of all that we do and the importance of attracting and retaining women in the sector.

After just three months of training from Ginger Public Speaking, cohort one of the EG Future Leaders project have transformed from being nervous about standing up in front of each other and talking about themselves to being confident, informed, engaging and humorous professionals entirely at ease delivering, note- and prompt-free presentations to large-scale crowds.
This was the first, but definitely not the last, EG Future Leaders project. Details on cohort two will be announced in the next few weeks.

Tonight, my pal @Kathryn_Cripps delivered the most inspirational and flawless talk on why large consulting firms lose women to client side roles by refusing to address the culture of inequality. Couldn’t be more proud #genderequality #futurefemaleleaders #TWGGS pic.twitter.com/ztLmrC6tFT
