Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has confirmed its move to Brookfield Property Partners’ 100 Bishopsgate, EC2.
The international law firm has signed a prelet agreement to occupy an expected initial area of 255,000 sq ft on floors 20-32 of the 37-storey tower. The company has agreed a 20-year lease, subject to Freshfields’ option to expand or contract prior to occupancy.
Construction of the 950,000 sq ft office and retail development began in 2015, with practical completion scheduled for 2018. Freshfields is expected to take occupancy in summer 2021, leaving its current London headquarters at 65 Fleet Street, EC4.
