Birnbeck Investments has appointed architect Foster & Partners to prepare a £30m hotel and apartments scheme for a seafront site in Weston Super Mare, Somerset.
The plans will involve redevelopment of the combined sites of The Captains Cabin and The Royal Pier Hotel in the Birnbeck area of the town.
Birnbeck Investments is part of Wahid Samay’s CNM Estates Group of companies and includes local property developer Jim Scott.
Scott said: “We will not simply re-hash the buildings that are here, we have a vision that will make Weston Super Mare an all-year-round destination.”
Birnbeck has recruited a team of advisers for the scheme including Savills, Gleeds and A&G Partnership.
