Frasers Group has revealed the next locations for its luxury Flannels stores – including one in the former Debenhams store in Leeds.
The three 80,000 sq ft-plus outlets will be in the ex-Debenhams store at 115-126 Briggate, Leeds; 63-67 Queen Street, Cardiff; and the previously announced opening in the Metrocentre in Gateshead.
The group opened its first so-called “flagship” stores at Sheffield Meadowhall, Leicester Fosse Park and 15 Parker Street, Liverpool, the latter its largest yet at 120,000 sq ft.
Michael Murray, chief executive of Flannels, said the new openings showed the company’s “continued belief in the future of the UK’s high streets”.
“Our plans to expand with a series of new experience-orientated flagships demonstrates how we are doubling down on our commitment to ‘new luxury’ and bringing world-class experiences to untapped markets,” he added.
The new stories are expected to open late next year.
