Former Estates Gazette editor Peter Bill to launch weekly column

Peter Bill, former Estates Gazette editor and renowned real estate journalist, is returning to the magazine with a new weekly column, Bill Post.

Bill will offer his unique and expert perspective on the week’s biggest real estate stories, providing readers with his trademark wry and sardonic outlook. His first column will appear in the relaunched, redesigned Estates Gazette on 5 April and on a new website on 7 April.

Bill’s career spans decades in the real estate world. A surveyor-turned-journalist, he was editor of Building magazine and spent over a decade as editor of Estates Gazette until 2009. He is the author of Planet Property and, most recently, Broken Homes: Britain’s Housing Crisis; Faults, Factoids and Fixes, co-written with regeneration expert Jackie Sadek.

“Returning to Estates Gazette feels like a warm welcome home,” said Bill. “I’m flattered to be given space each week to comment on the news of the day.”

Tim Burke, editor of Estates Gazette, added: “Peter’s unparalleled experience and sharp analysis make him a perfect fit for this new column. His distinctive voice has been a fixture in the property industry for decades, and we’re excited to have him back, offering his unique take on the stories that matter most.”

Bill Post will be published weekly on the Estates Gazette website and in the magazine. It is set to become an essential read for anyone in the real estate industry.
