LISTEN: In the first of a new series of EG podcasts that looks at the extraordinary things that people in property do, we meet Julian Evans, head of healthcare and hotels at Knight Frank by day, intrepid explorer whenever he can.
For Evans, it all started with the marathon, then a six-day run across the Sahara, then from that extreme heat to the extreme cold of the North Pole. So far, he has climbed the equivalent of 132 Shards stacked on top of each other.
In this recording, we find out exactly how he is able to travel around the world taking part in these extreme adventures while holding down the day job, his most fearful moments and the lessons he has found most applicable to working life.
