Georgia Conlon, of Danderhall Primary School, Scotland, was crowned winner of Shawfair’s competition for the best depiction of a community. She won a Kindle and zoo tickets, and is pictured with Shawfair’s James Palmer. Shawfair, in partnership with Buccleuch Property and Mactaggart & Mickel Homes, is bring forward a major regeneration project in south-east Edinburgh.


Roger-SouthamSoutham shows drive to break golf record

Last year Roger Southam, the sartorially unique chief executive of asset management firm Chainbow, completed a challenge to play golf on four courses in four countries in one day.

This year he is taking on a Guinness World Record pursuit to play the most holes in 12 hours. He will challenge the current record of 221 on 28 September at Fulwell Golf Club, Middlesex to raise cash for Sparks, which funds medical research for children. JLL’s Osborn in mission of mercy

JLL Student housing specialist Stuart Osborn is currently making a 3,500-mile round trip to Ukraine to deliver aid packages to a charity for victims of the Chernobyl disaster. He is part of a
three-van convoy with Felsted Aid travelling to the Centre of Medical Social Rehabilitation of Disabled Children in Chernigov delivering medicine, toiletries, bedding and stationery. Support his efforts at www.justgiving.com/rich-and-stu.

Urgent errand on Arran

The Isle of Arran is known colloquially as Scotland in miniature, but intrepid Scottish agents from Cushman & Wakefield are heading there for a physical challenge that will take them to the max. They will be cycling the 55-mile, very hilly, circumference of the island, then scale the 2,866 ft Goat Fell, its highest peak.The team will set off on 14 August and is undertaking the challenge to raise money for the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice in Glasgow. DTZ-10-Peaks-ChallengeDTZ walkers conquer Brecon Beacons

DTZ surveyors from Bristol and Cardiff have scaled 10 of the Brecon Beacons’ highest peaks in fewer than 10 hours, raising £3,000 for Youth Adventure Trust. Ben Johnson, Jo Williams, Christian Crawfurd, Andrew Flower, Laura Halse and Matthew Wales covered 36km to conquer the challenge.
