Enterprise Land boosts team with trio of senior hires

Enterprise Land has added three senior people to its team as part of its ambitious growth plans.

The firm was launched last month by Andrew Thornton, the former principal real estate head for Europe at Principal Global Investors, to offer investment solution and work with companies specialising in enterprise, land, labour and capital.

It has established two offices in London and Zurich, with plans to initially focus on investment and development in the student accommodation, data centre and logistics sectors.

Dominic von Felten has joined as managing director, Olivia Thornton has been named as director of risk management and Charles Stevens has been appointed as portfolio manager.

In his new role, von Felten will be responsible for European business development. Before joining Enterprise Land, he was in charge of real estate business development for Baloise Insurance Group’s asset management division and held various senior adviser roles at proptech companies.

Thornton has experience in the banking and hedge fund sectors, specialising in complex products, structured derivatives, fixed income and risk analysis.

Stevens will be charged with underwriting investment strategies, carrying out due diligence and auditing operating partners. He was previously finance director of Senescura, a company developing an integrated retirement communities and care homes, and of Hencote, a family owned hospitality business.

Thornton said: “They will play a pivotal role in supporting our mission to become a leading real estate investment player.”
