The South Dorset market is proving “almost recession-proof”, according to local developers, who believe that the future Olympic sailing events in the area will boost the county’s tourism.
Mickey Jones, chief executive of Dorset-based DJ Property, talks about his latest development at Oxford Court in Weymouth, and says that despite the recession, demand for commercial space in Dorset is increasing.
Oxford Court at Granby Industrial Estate is undergoing expansion and will contain 23 industrial and office units. Completion is set for August.
