Tuesday
North Yorkshire Council has been recommended to approve the development of a new neighbourhood comprising 224 homes alongside a new school and open space. Banks Property has proposed up to 90 of the homes on site to be affordable.

Wednesday
City of Doncaster Council’s cabinet will hear about a new future for the former rail training college, which has been closed since July last year. The council has now identified an occupier that could continue with the site’s educational purpose and is seeking an authority to finalise lease negotiations.

Thursday
Empiric Student Property will report on its financial performance for the six months to 30 June. In its most recent trading update, the student accommodation operator reported strong sales for the forthcoming 2024/25 academic year, with 80% of income contractually secured.

Friday
Newcastle planners will decide on the future of 882-student home development proposed by iQ. The Blackstone-owned student housing company is looking to deliver two tiered buildings of eight to 12 storeys high alongside green spaces.
