Monday
Islington Council planning committee has been recommended to give the go-ahead to Kadans’ proposed redevelopment of 18-20 Tileyard Road, N7, known as Kiln. According to the plans, the ground floor of the 76,338 sq ft new built facility will provide industrial space while the upper levels have been designed to accommodate up to two life sciences tenants per floor.
Councillors will also be asked to decide on the proposals to extend, reclad and refurbish the existing 190,930 sq ft building at 48 Chiswell Street, EC1. Bayshore Estates, acting on behalf of Berkeley Estate Asset Management, plans to add two storeys to the existing building to provide 209,670 sq ft affordable workspace for local businesses.
Tuesday
Oxford City Council planning officers have recommended that The Oxford Trust’s proposed expansion of Wood Centre for Innovation at Stansfeld Park would be approved. To be known as Aspen, the new facility is set to provide 12,916 sq ft of new labs and 4,899 sq ft of office space.
Thursday
The RICS is scheduled to release its housing market survey, which will give an indication of sentiment in the residential sector in November. Will we continue to see increased activity in the sales market with prices nudging upwards?
Councillors at Camden have a packed agenda, with plans to extend the Travelodge at 10 Drury Lane, WC2, by two storeys set to get the go ahead alongside proposals from GSM Estates to turn the 32,000 sq ft Kingsway House, WC2, into a 58-bedroom aparthotel
Currys will update its shareholders on its performance over the past six months, having reported positive trading through the autumn, gaining market share and improving margins. The electronics retailer operates 719 stores in six countries.
Friday
MB European Holdings will find out if its got the green light to transform the Newcastle Heliport site, withing the Forth Yards opportunity area at Elswick, into 356 new homes. The site sits close the former Elswick Leadworks site – now owned by Homes England – which has outline consent for more than 1,000 homes.
